Maltese & Munchkin Love!

UPDATE:  (Nov 23 2017)   We love Maltese.  As you can see below, we have had at least one Maltese for many years until Mali went missing on February 26, 2017.   It has been very difficult to even think about getting another Maltese as Meeka and Mali were so much a part of our family.  Though we continue to pray that Mali will be returned to us some day, we believe we are ready to have another puppy enter our lives.  Let me introduce Michiko "Michi".  She is 6 wks old and is already working her way into our hearts!

We have also diversified and added a Munchkin Cat to our family.  This is Mini Katness "Mini Kat".  She is a Munchkin which is a relatively new breed of cat characterized by its very short legs.  They also have a "ragdoll" trait which is demonstrated when picked up, they become relaxed like a ragdoll.  She's a mess and loves to crawl into our laps, then she does a roll over so we can "rub" her stomach!

Born on September 19 2001, Meeka was the princess of the family. She liked to dress up in her prissy clothes and make people smile. Her favorite thing was a treat. You can always get her attention with that one powerful word "treat". She was born in Houston TX. but has spent most of her life traveling. She has been from coast to coast and border to border in the USA, and she has also been to Canada. She likes to travel by cars or plane. Meeka loves getting into her big purse bag and sneak into restaurants, stores and movies. We cannot tell you how much joy this girl brought us. She went to doggy heaven in 2015. Meeka was a great companion and a wonderful mommy to her pups.

This is Mali, one of Meeka's pups who worked herself into our hearts and is was part of our family for 10 years. She went missing on February 26, 2017 and we hope that she will someday come home to us. She's was a mess and loves to play with "pinky" and give lots of kisses. We miss her alot!
